Business Development Manager, Strategic Accounts Food & Beverage

Position Summary

Responsible for delivering sustainable, profitable growth with Strategic Accounts within the Food/Beverage industry through Key Distribution Partner Channel. This person will focus on creating demand and developing new large business opportunities within the food & beverage market with our Distribution partners. Will focus on multi-location target end-user customers; bringing national coordination and creating growth initiatives. This person will play a pivotal role in strategy development and identifying targets in food & beverage market. This person is a team player, strategic thinker, innovative and strong negotiator. Will develop long-term business relationships with new and existing customers. Will work with and partner with Distribution Channel Partners where applicable.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop Key relationships with Distribution partner Strategic Account associates.
  • Perform market research and identify prospective customers.
  • Accurately Forecast opportunities while developing/managing a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Drive strategy on target customers within the Food & Beverage market
  • Create long term value for Solve IMG with customers and relationships
  • Focus on demand creation for food & beverage market in North America
  • Work closely with Distribution National Account Managers to develop new business for Solve IMG
  • National coordination of new & existing OEM’s and large multi-location End-User accounts
  • Develop excellent market reputation and customer satisfaction
  • Promote full Solve IMG Brand product line at focused target accounts
  • Motivate and work closely with sales team and marketing in pursuit of target accounts

Market Expert

  • This person should have a strong knowledge of the food and beverage market
  • Stay continuously aware of market trends, evolutions and key shifts
  • Educate Outside & Inside Sales on market and target customer specifics

Product

  • Develop strategy to grow new products and existing strategic products in food & beverage market
  • Advise Solve IMG team on new potential products and features for the market

Education and/or Experience

  • BS Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Industrial Technology or Related Field Experience
  • 5+ years Bearing and/or Power Transmission experience
  • 5+ years Sales Management experience a plus
